PURPOSE:To point out noncommon-use KANJI(Chinese character) and to facilitate correcting operation by collating KANJI codes in created document data with a common-use KANJI dictionary and detecting noncommon-use KANJI. CONSTITUTION:A noncommon-use KANJI detection and correction part 1 consists of the common-use KANJI dictionary 11, a detection part 12, and a correction part 13 and the common-use KANJI dictionary 11 stores KANJI codes of all common-use KANJI characters. The detection part 12 extracts KANJI codes used in the document data 2 and collates them with the KANJI codes in the common-use KANJI dictionary 11 to detect noncommon-use KANJI characters and the correction part 13 points out the positions of the noncommon- use KANJI characters in the document data 2 detected by the detection part 12 to a document creating operator, which is prompted to correct them. Thus, the noncommon-use KANJI characters in the created document are automatically detected and displayed, so the operation time required to correct the document data is shortened. |
