<p>PURPOSE:To attain less distortion coding with high efficiency by using a decoded value of 2nd coding in a sample not interleaved so as to decide the decoding method of the sample to be interleaved and outputting information required for the decoding as a 1st code word. CONSTITUTION:A component being a cause to reflection distortion is eliminated from a sample inputted from a terminal 101 by a pre-filter 108 and the result is inputted to switches 109, 110. The interleaved sample passes through only the switch 110 and becomes an input to subtractor circuits 114, 115 via a delay circuit 111. The sample not interleaved passes through only the switch 109, is given to a DPCM coding circuit 104, in which the signal is subject to DPCM coding and becomes a 2nd code word. Then the same interpolation value as that from the decoder is obtained and 1st coding is attained by the coder. The 1st coding is implemented by using the decoded value of the 2nd code word in this way to reduce the effect of distortion due to the 2nd coding and the coding with less distortion is realized.</p> |
