PURPOSE:To allow the control of musical tones by the entire part of a palm by providing a gripping part which has an operating surface and consists of a flexible body internally contg. fluid and a pressure sensor which is provided with a pressure sensing surface in a communicating path from the inside of the gripping part and has an output terminal for controlling the musical tones. CONSTITUTION:The fluid, such as gas, is put into the gripping part 1 consisting of the flexible body. The pressure sensor 15 provided with the pressure sensing surface in the communicating path from the inside of the gripping part 1 is provided. The pressing force of the gripping part is then detected by the pres sure sensor 15 via the internal fluid when the gripping part is pressed by the entire part of the palm of the player. Since the output terminal 15b for control ling the musical tones is provided in this pressure sensor 15, the expression state over the entire part of the player's palm is converted to an electric signal and is produced from this output terminal 15b. The musical tones are controlled simply by pressing the gripping part 1 with the player's palm in this way. |
