CONSTITUTION:When a computer form feeder, that is, the consecutive sheet original feeder 100 is set on a platen glass 5, a joint switch 103 is turned on, and its detecting signal is detected by the control part 104 of the device 100, and sent to a copying machine control part 28 to obtain a form feeder mode. Then, the illuminating optical system composed of first - third mirrors 7 - 9 is moved up to a second home position 51, that is, a standby position, based on the sent signal, and then, up to an actual operating position.
