POLYOXYALKYLENEPOLYOL AND ITS USE

PURPOSE:To obtain a polyoxyalkylenepolyol desirable for producing a rigid polyurethane in the environment of a cold district by using a specified amine/ alkylene oxide. CONSTITUTION:Tris(2-aminoethyl)amine and an alkylene oxide such as ethylene oxide, propylene oxide or styrene oxide are subjected to addition polymerization in the presence of optionally a catalyst such as a tert. amine or an alkali metal to obtain a polyoxyalkylenepolyol having a hydroxyl value of 300-700mgKOH/g and being useful for producing a polyurethane.
