PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption by intermittent oscillation and prevent the heating of an inadequate load without deteriorating operability by changing the oscillation stop period during intermittent oscillation in response to the load inadequate state period. CONSTITUTION:The operation of a timer 9 is started when a load detecting circuit 8 judges a load as inadequate. An oscillation controller 7 stops heating, then it again performs a heating action after a preset period is measured by an interval timer 10. When intermittent oscillation actions are repeated for a fixed period of the load detection period shown by the timer 9, the timer 10 measures a preset period longer than the previous preset period, and heating actions are again performed. The oscillation controller 7 performs the intermittent oscillation with the oscillation stop period longer than before by the change of the measurement period of the timer 10. The power consumption is reduced, the overheating of an inadequate load is prevented, and safety can be secured. |
