PURPOSE:To drive a lens and to perform focusing by respectively bonding piezo-electric bodies to the opposite surfaces of a plate-like elastic body, alternately switching both piezo-electric bodies according to a focusing signal so that AC voltage may be impressed and vibrating the elastic body. CONSTITUTION:When the focusing signal is outputted from the focusing signal means of a camera and it shows what is called front focus, for instance, a switching means 16 is switched to a side where a power source part 18 is connected to a 1st piezo-electric body 12a side, and the lens is extended to be normally positioned at a focusing position. In the case that the signal shows what is called rear focus, the means 16 allows the power source part 18 to connect to a 2nd piezo-electric body 12b, on the contrary, and the lens of the camera is receded to be normally positioned at the focusing position. Since longitudinal vibration and bending vibration are made to be generated in the elastic body 10, both of vibration generated in the elastic body is utilized to drive the lens, and the focusing is performed. |
