PRODUCTION OF CERAMIC STRUCTURE

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve sinterability and handleability by molding and firing a mixed starting material compsn. contg. fine particles of a specified org. compd. deposited on the surface of oxide ceramic powder. CONSTITUTION:A suspension is prepd. by dispersing 100wt.% oxide ceramic powder having <=0.5mum particle diameter in an org. solvent not dissolving the powder and 0.1-10wt.% org. compd. contg. several kinds of elements forming a sintering accelerator and/or elements forming a sintering accelerator and water are added to the suspension. Hydrolysis as well as distillation at a temp. close to the b.p. of the org. solvent is then carried out to obtain a mixed starting material compsn. contg. fine particles of the org. compd. having 0.01-0.05mum particle diameter deposited on the surface of the ceramic powder. This compsn. is molded into a prescribed shape and fired at 400-700 deg.C for 5-10hr.
