PURPOSE:To realize the correct decoding of data by providing a data discriminator to decode transmit data based on a quantized phase value, and detecting optimum discriminating time based on the changing point of the increase and the decrease of the quantized phase, and discriminating the data from a received signal. CONSTITUTION:A phase quantizer 1 inputs the received signal, and detects its phase. A phase differentiator 6 differentiates the inputted phase, and detects the time-wise change of the phase. This phase change is sent to a clock regenerator 7, and a discriminating clock is generated, and is sent to the data discriminator 4. In the data discriminator 4, the data is decoded on the basis of the quantized phase value at the discriminating time outputted from the clock regenerator 7. Since the time when the increase value and the decrease value change from 'positive' to 'negative' or from 'negative' to 'positive' always coincides with the changing point of the data in this way, the correct discriminating time can be obtained,within small dispersion, and the decoding of the data can correctly be executed. |
