PURPOSE:To contrive the improvement of coating ability, heat resistance and preservability and of glossiness after image formation by providing an image receiving layer containing vinyl chloride resin and vinyl chloride copolymer. CONSTITUTION:As a binder for an image receiving layer, vinyl chloride resin and vinyl chloride copolymer are used. The degree of polymerization of the vinyl chloride resin is usually from 200 to 3000, preferably from 20 to 1000. It is preferable to use the copolymer of vinyl chloride and monomer as the vinyl chloride copolymer. By way of example, the monomer may be the alkyl ester of unsaturated fatty acid (vinyl acetate, vinyl propionate, etc.) and aromatic unsaturated compounds including benzoylvinyl ether. However, the aromatic unsaturated compound is desirable in terms of solubility to organic solvent and light resistance and preservability of images. Preferably, the copolymer contains 50-100wt.% vinyl chloride component and has a degree of polymerization of about 50-2500. |
