<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate processing a jam by movably forming one end of a spring for energizing a movable type guide plate, by which a paper through path is partly formed, to a paper through path forming position, and weakening energizing force when the movable type guide plate is fully opened. CONSTITUTION:A cover plate 31, turnably provided by a supporting shaft 31a in one side surface of a vertical conveying guide plate by which a paper through path in the upstream from a relay roller is formed, is energized to a guide position, by which a paper through path is formed, by a spring 32. When a jam is generated, a cover 31 is turned in the clockwise direction as shown in the drawing to partly open the conveying guide plate, and the jam is processed. In this opening action, a roll shaft 33, which engages a hook in one end of the spring 32 with the cover 31, is rolled on guide surfaces 34F, 34R to reverse force of the spring 32 in such a manner that a center line (c), passing through the center of the roll shaft 33 and the center of a pin 35 connected to a main unit frame, is vertically deflected by interposing a support 31a. Accordingly, opening action force is decreased.</p> |
