<p>PURPOSE:To realize a compact video projection system (VPS) and to reduce the packaging number of driving ICs by providing a thin film transistor matrix array where a video display area is divided into at least three blocks to be formed on one substrate. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a film carrier 1 for packaging a video signal, and a film carrier 2 for packaging a gate signal, which are respectively connected to the substrates 3 where the thin film transistor matrix array is formed. Then, a counter substrate 4 is provided with the display areas 5-7 respectively corresponding to R, G and B, and three film carriers 1 are provided corresponding to the respective display areas 5-7. Namely, the display areas 5-7 constituting of the thin film transistor matrix array is divided into three blocks to be formed. Thus, the space occupied by a liquid crystal display panel in the video projection system VPS is made small and the packaging number of driving ICs is reduced.</p> |
