PURPOSE:To enable a super conductive cylindrical body to be obtained that has large size and high density and is improved in its orientation by roll- expanding a double pipe filled with a super conductive material from the inside by means of press rollers. CONSTITUTION:The calcinated powder of a super conductive material is filled in double pipes 1, 2. In this instance, it is conducted while giving supersonic wave or mechanical vibration thereto. In this manner, the filling density can be improved. Furthermore, it is subjected to press rolling by the use of press rollers 3, 4 arranged on the inside and outside of the double pipes. The double pipes are expanded while they are rotated. After rolling, the wall thickness becomes thin, and the diameter large. After rolling, when baked, a super conductive body with high density can be obtained. |
