WORD PROCESSOR CONTAINING MERIT CERTIFICATE PRINTING FUNCTION

PURPOSE:To automatically and properly arrange and print the desired sentences within a form by reading the basic merit certificate sentences out of a storage means, reducing the inter-line pitch after deletion of the character string of the preceding stage, and reducing the magnifying power compared with the basic value when the number of counter characters of the text exceeds the prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:The KANA (Japanese syllabary) character strings inputted through a keyboard 17 are temporarily stored in a CPU 11. A KANA/KANJI (Chinese character) conversion processing part 12 contains a dictionary and converts the KANA character strings into the KANA-KANJI mixed sentences in cooperation with the CPU 11. These sentences are stored in a merit certificate print memory 14 via the CPU 11. The memory 14 stores the basic merit certificate sentences necessary for print of a merit certificate. A merit certificate print processing part 13 reads one of basic merit certificate sentences out of the memory 14 and stores it in an internal buffer to correct the sentence into the number of character lines of the preceding stage through the keyboard 17. The inter-line pitch of the character string of the preceding stage is adjusted or corrected in response to the number of corrected character lines. Otherwise the character size is set according to the number of input text characters. Then the basic merit certificate sentences are compounded with preference given to the adjusted inter-line pitch and the set character size. Then the desired merit certificate sentences are obtained.
