PURPOSE:To inexpensively obtain constitution and to facilitate operation by operating a riding spot button for a fixed time or more so that a cage is placed in an operation stoppage condition and reset to a normal operation mode. CONSTITUTION:During normal operation, a cage is placed in a story with a door closed, and when riding spot buttons 1A, 1B of that story are pressed for a fixed time or more, an elevator driving gear 5 is placed in an operation stoppage condition by an operation stoppage means 3. When the riding spot buttons 1A, 1B of any story are pressed for a fixed time or more at the time of operation stoppage condition, the driving gear 5 is reset to the normal operation by an operation resetting means 14. In this way, a device can be cheaply constituted further operation can be facilitated without setting up an equipment except the equipment set up in an ordinary elevator. |
