PURPOSE:To contrive the improvement of thermal responsiveness and shelf life by a method wherein one or two of diazo compound, diazo coupling compound and coloring assistant are suspended in a water-insoluble organic solvent having a high-molecular substance dissolved therein and this solvent is evaporated to separate out the high-molecular substance so as to form a wall around the water drop. CONSTITUTION:One or two of diazo compound, diazo coupling component and coloring assistant are enclosed in a microcapsule as a core substance. The water solution or watery liquid of the core substance is suspended in a water- insoluble organic solvent having a high-molecular substance dissolved therein and held in suspension under the water to form [W/O]/W type composite emulsion, after which the solvent is evaporated to separate out and form the high- molecular substance around the core substance. The diazo compound is the diazonium salt expressed by the formula ArN2<+>X<->(wherein Ar represents substituted or nonsubstituted aromatic portion, ArN<+> represents diazonium salt and X<-> represents acid anion). As the coloring assistant, a basic substance or the substance capable of producing alkali by heating is used. |
