Fitting system for the floats of a board such as a surfboard or sailboard comprising a plurality of parts that can be detached from each other. The invention relates to a system for fitting together two modules forming a "kit" for a float for a sailboard or surfboard. The system consists of two modules 1' and 2' which slide one into the other. Once fitted together they are locked in place by three studs. The two modules are locked by means of at least three catches: 1, 2, 3. The rounded shape of the system means that breakages do not start developing. The fitting system according to the invention is designed to allow its floats to be easily stored in a small space and to allow the board to be adjusted to suit the selected programme. <IMAGE>
