PURPOSE:To prevent impurities from being mixed into a die solution so as to enable a dye laser to be improved in oscillation efficiency while keeping a constant dye concentration by a method wherein outside air and solvent vapor are exhausted from a closed type dye solution tank, and then a certain amount of gas is supplied to the tank from a gas supply source. CONSTITUTION:When a valve 2 of a bomb 21 and a flow control valve 23 are opened, gas flows into a tank 10 from the bomb 21 passing through a gas feed pipe 17. Concurrently, the gas pressure of a pressure gauge 27 is monitored by a gas controller 28, and a flow control valve 24 and an exhaust pump 25 are controlled so as to set exhaust volume and gas pressure to certain values. When a dye solution circulation device is set in operation under a certain pressure control, a certain amount of alcohol vapor is exhausted, alcohol is decreased in volume inside a tank 10, and a dye solution can be prevented from decreasing in dye concentration due to the deterioration of dye by light. Therefore, when a circulation pump 16 is driven, a dye solution 11 can be made to circulate through a dye cell 12, so that a dye laser of this design can be kept high in laser oscillation efficiency. |
