PURPOSE:To obtain the subject resin composition capable of providing a molding excellent in release properties and surface properties by blending an unsaturated polyester with a copolymerizable vinyl monomer and adding polybutene having a specified polymerization degree to the resultant mixture. CONSTITUTION:With (A) a uniform solution obtained by blending (A1): 100 pts.wt. unsaturated polyester with (A2): 5-70 pts.wt., preferably 10-60 pts.wt. copolymerizable vinyl monomer (e.g. styrene, methyl methacrylate or triallyl cyanurate), (B) polybutene having 4-20 average polymerization degree, e.g. a material obtained by removing butadiene from a 4C hydrocarbon fraction produced, e.g. by cracking naphtha and polymerizing the resultant fraction in the presence of a catalyst such as aluminum trichloride at 30-60 deg.C is blended in an amount of 0.1-10 pts.wt. based on the total amount of (A). A polymerization initiator, a colorant, a filler, a reinforcing material and other additives are admixed therewith, thus obtaining the objective composition. |
