PURPOSE:The titled molded product with high hygroscopicity but no sliminess, which comprises an inner layer having an alkali metal-substd. carboxyl group and a surface layer having a cationic material-substd. carboxyl group. CONSTITUTION:A polyamide molded product having at least 7X10<-4>mol/g of an alkali metal-substd. carboxyl group is treated at a temp. as low as possible by use of a cationic material of MW>=50 (e.g., a cationic surfactant or a polyamide cationic softener), to allow the surface layer portion thereof to contain at least 7X10<-4>mol/g of a cationic material-substd. carboxyl group. Said molded product may contain 90% or less polyester (where the polyester is contained in a surface area corresponding to about 50% or less of the total surface area).
