The damping washer is positioned between a rotary element connected to a coupling plate (35) and a coupling cover mounted on it. A hub (20) has a flanged periphery (22) which is connected elastically to the coupling-plate (35) by an elastic element (29, 30, 31). A friction-piece (45, 46) is pressed against one side of the flanged structure (22) by an annular compression piece (43). An annular holder-plate (36) has at least one window (38) on its periphery for containing the elastic piece (29, 30, 31). The holderplate`s inner diameter is such that its radially inner rim holds the radially outer rim of the compression piece (43). ADVANTGE - The damping washer is strong and stabilises the hysteresis torque produced and is easily made.
