The tightener is for collars (4) on taper-bore mounted roller shafts (1) which has conical clamping sleeves (5) and tension pieces (7). The conical clamping sleeve (5) cna be axially moved by means of spiral springs (6) in a basic piece (2). The basic piece (2) moves axially on the roller shaft (1) by means of a splined shaft profile, and holds the axially movable tension piece (7) by means of a further profiled spined shaft. ADVANTAGE - The rollers are rapidly changed over, and the roller collars made longer-lasting.
