PURPOSE:To cancel and eliminate the distortion component at de-emphasis by incorporating the distortion component caused by pre-emphasis and de- emphasis processing into a pre-emphasis output in advance. CONSTITUTION:An output signal SS of a subtractor circuit 42 in which a distortion component 6 is caused and a signal SS directly from a terminal 11 are fed to a subtractor circuit 31, from which the distortion component 6 is extracted, Then the distortion component A from the subtractor circuit 31 is added in opposite phase to a pre-emphasis signal SP from an adder circuit 12, the result is subject to recording/reproduction by a recording reproduction system 100 and then fed to a de-emphasis circuit 20. Thus, even when the distortion component DELTA is caused in the de-emphasis circuit 20 it is cancelled by the distortion component DELTA included in the signal SP and the signal SS without any distortion is extracted at a terminal 21. Thus, the distortion by the de- emphasis circuit is disregarded. |
