The closure lid for container openings has a first sealing element resting in the closed position on the opening edge and a second sealing element with smaller sealing diameter. This second sealing element (36) is a radial sealing ring between concentric cylindrical wall faces (24, 34) on the lid grip part (20) and pressure member (14). The pressure member is axially supported on the lid grip part without the interposition of the second sealing element. The pressure part can be made of plastics and provided with a hub (34) enclosing a cylindrical attachment (24) of the lid grip part. ADVANTAGE - Since the second sealing element does not act as a pressure transfer member its sealing diameter can be smaller producing a reduction in the torque applied when moving the lid grip part.
