PURPOSE:To allow mass production with a simple small structure by forming a thin film-shaped working/reference electrodes with hydrogen ion selectivity on an insulating electrode support substrate impregnated with an internal liquid, and covering the whole except specific positions with a protective film. CONSTITUTION:A pH electrode A is dipped in a 1.0N hydrochloric acid solution, for example, degassing is performed in the negative pressure, and hydrochloric acid is filled into the electrode support substrate 1. A platinum wire is dipped in hydrochloric acid, voltage is applied across the platinum wire and a reference electrode 3 so that the reference voltage is made +0.5V, and silver/silver chloride is formed on the face of the electrode support substrate 1 side of silver 31. The hydrochloric acid solution is completely removed, and a potassium chloride solution with the preset mole is filled into the electrode support substrate 1 in the same method. The whole except the sensitive section 23 of a working electrode 2, the liquid junction 33 of the reference electrode 3, and the connection section between the working electrode 2 and the reference electrode 3 is covered with an insulating protective film 32. |
