<p>PURPOSE:To hold interchangeability with a recording pattern of a magnetic tape recorded by a standard cylinder by employing a special small-diameter cylinder, and reducing tension of a cylinder inlet smaller than a value normally employed in the case of the standard cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The tension at the outer periphery of a small-diameter rotary cylinder 11 having two pairs of magnetic heads is smaller than a standard value in the case of a standard rotary cylinder having a pair of magnetic heads. When the diameter of the standard rotary cylinder is D, the cylinder is com posed of a cylinder smaller than the value calculated by the diameter D0 of a small-diameter rotary cylinder 11 by D0 = D (X) 180/270. Thus, interchangeabili ty with a magnetic tape recorded by the standard cylinder can be held.</p> |
