PURPOSE:To enable the position of a component held by a suction head to be easily confirmed and to prevent the component from deviating in position when the component is moved to a certain point and positioned by method wherein a camera is provided to a suction head main body, and a holding member which sucks a component is formed of transparent and soft material. CONSTITUTION:A suction hole 2 and an irradiation hole 3 are provided to a main body 1, air A is exhausted from a cavity IC by a vacuum pump through the suction hole 2, whereby a holding member 4 is made to suck and hold a component 8, light L1 is emitted through the irradiation hole 3 by a light guide 13, and the component 8 sucked by the holding member 4 is irradiated with the reflected light from a half mirror 6. The reflected light L2 which irradiated the component 8 is made to penetrate the half mirror 6 and converged by a lens 9 into an image, and a camera 9 picks up the image concerned. By this setup, the camera 7 picks up the image of the component 8, and for instance the position of the component 8 held by the holding member 4 can be detected by the camera 9 while the component 8 is transferred. The holding member 4 which sucks the component 8 is formed of material transparent and soft, whereby the holding member 4 is excellent in adhesion to the component 8 and enhanced in holding power. |
