<p>NEW MATERIAL:Tetra- or tri-peptide compounds (salt) represented by formula I [X is formula II (W is H, OH or lower alkoxy); Y does not exist or is residue formed by removal of H and OH respectively from alpha-amino group and carboxyl group of neutral or basic amino acid; Z is residue formed by removing H from alpha-amino group of basic amino acid]. USE:An immunostimulant. PREPARATION:For example, formula Boc-Pro-OH (Boc is t-butyloxycarbonyl) is dissolved in dichloromethane and reacted with formula H-Arg(NO2)-OBzl (Bzl is benzyl) in the presence of a condensation agent under ice cooling. The amino-protecting group is subsequently removed and formula H-Arg(NO2)-OH is then reacted therewith followed by removal of the amino-protecting group. The resultant substance is further reacted with 3-amino-2-hydroxy-4- phenylbutanoic acid and all the protecting groups are subsequently removed, thus obtaining the objective peptide of formula I.</p> |
