<p>The physiotherapy work surface has a specific shape (belt, bracelet, patella etc) depending on the purpose for which it is constructed, it is made of specific material in order to be able to adapt to the particular area of the body (e.g. plastic surface of 0.5 mm and 1 mm thickness, elastic bandage or cloth) and a specific number of plastic or metal surfaces (discs) with pointed 'teeth' (needles) to cover the area causing pain. The distances between the discs with the pointed needles, the distances between the teeth themselves and the form and the depth of the teeth play a definitive role in obtaining excellent results in alleviation and even complete relief of pain originating in: a) The head, b)The spine c) The muscles, d)The bones etc. The result of the physiotherapy work surface is achieved through its application as follows: The work surface, as it is adapted for the specific body region, is applied to the painful area and is pressed to the limits of toleration of the discomfort caused by the appliance for 40-60 secs. If the pain is not relieved the first time, the procedure is repeated a number of times, until the pain is completely relieved. For activity related to the cardiovascular, respiratory, nervous and digestive systems we apply the physiotherapy surface on an area of the body as large as possible, for a greater length of time to the relevant parts of the body in question. To achieve an increase and improvement in the patient's work capabilities, it is necessary that the person puts weight on the soles of the feet (in a sitting position) and pushes the palms of the hands (up to the limit of toleration of discomfort) for 1-2 min.
