PURPOSE:To prevent poor connecting and missing of connections by subjecting each core after bending to permanent processing, and thereby eliminating restitution of the bent core. CONSTITUTION:A wire terminal stripped P is supported fast by threading through a clamp 11. If in this condition a longitudinal heating punch 16 is moved toward an exposed core (a), it is bent and heated, and subsequently a transverse heating punch 17 is moved, this bent core (a) is farther bent along the insulative covering of the wire and heated. This heating turns the core (a) permanent processed, and the bent state is maintained. This eliminates risk of restitution of the bent core to prevent missing of core (a) at the edge of a terminal or occurrence of poor connecting at the terminal (b). |
