An arrangement for continuous weighing of a material web 2, which is conveyed on an upper portion of an endless conveyor belt 3, has a support roller 9 which supports the upper portion of the conveyor belt 3 and the spindle 10 of which is mounted in a fixed stand 11. Two arms 12 are mounted pivotably on the spindle 10 of the support roller 9. A second roller 13, the spindle 14 of which is mounted on the arms 12, forms the front end roller of the conveyor belt 3, around which the conveyor belt extends and at which its upper portion merges with a lower return portion. A third roller 16, the spindle 17 of which is mounted in a fixed stand 18, guides the return portion of the conveyor belt 3 in such a manner that, between the second and the third rollers 13 and 16, it runs parallel to the upper portion. A load-sensing member 23 measures the load on the spindle 14 of the second roller 13, and a frictional-couple-sensing member measures the frictional couple of the second roller 13. A calculating unit is arranged so as to calculate the weight of that part of the material web 2 located between the support roller 9 and the second roller 13 on the basis of the load and frictional couple measured. <IMAGE> |
