<p>PURPOSE:To float scum by the bubbles formed when high-pressure water is released, and enable high-concn. waste water to be treated with a small-sized apparatus by injecting treating water together with air under pressurizing from the upper stream side of plural pressure vessels which are piped in series, detecting the high water levels on the lower stream side vessels and releasing the water. CONSTITUTION:The waste water supplied in a reservoir 1 is removed of scum in a prestage scum removing tank 3, and this waste water is supplied of nutrient salts for microbes from a supply pipe 12 in a reservoir 11. Next, it is pressurized by a pump 14 and is injected together with the high-pressure air of a compressor 8 to the upper part of a vessel 13. The treating water is flowed down in a cylinder 13a by the impellers 13b of the vessels 13, 15, 16, and circulates by ascending on the circumference, then the pressures in the vessels rise. Thence, the air is dissolved into the treating water according to pressures to enhance DO. The treating water is oxidation-treated by microbes. The air having failed to dissolve in the treating water is released from a pipe 17. When the water level gage 20 of the vessel 19 reaches an upper level, a valve 21 opens to release the water into a water tank 22, thereby lowering the water pressure. The dissolved gas floats scum as bubbles and the scum is removed. The treated water is discharged from a pipe 23.</p> |
