The lock system (1) is formed as a cylinder lock with a rotatable cylinder core (6) in a hole of the cylinder housing (5). It also has retainer pins for unlocking and locking the cylinder core which are displaceably located in holes in the cylinder core and housing. On the axis of the cylinder core of the lock is located a cylinder ring with a lock bolt (8) pivotable out of the cylinder houisng (5), the pivot position of which is adjustable in relation to the position of the key by means of an adjustment device. The cylinder housing has negative milled-in grooves (10) for its coding in the cylinder axis direction, and the recess in the bolt system has counter-formed positive formations.
