The stamp prodn. unit has a burner combustion section beneath which is any eddy layer combustion section, the walls of the latter being fully integrated in the water-steam-circuit of the steam prodn. unit. An eddy layer (9) is arranged in the combustion chamber (1), and has an open nozzle floor (26). Above the burner combustion section is a feed (12) for a desulphurizing additive. The open nozzle floor (26) of the eddy layer (9) has parallel nozzle bars provided with nozzle heads, space part by 400 to 500 mm. The combustion section has a low and even burner belt loading, and the eddy layer (9) is arranged in a funnel (8) in the lower part of the combustion chamber (1). USE - For burning raw brown coal or heavy heating oil in a stamp prodn. unit with simultaneous desulphurization.
