PEROXIDE COMPOSITIONS WITH ETHOXYLATED WATER-SOLUBLE POLYMERS

Peroxide dispersions containing, as a dispersing agent, a polyether polysiloxane or a water-soluble copolymer of a C8C24 .alpha.,-olefin and an .alpha..beta.,-unsaturated dicarboxylic acid ester which has either been esterified with at least one ethoxylated alcohol having a degree of ethoxylation of 1-45; are disclosed. These peroxide dispersions are millable to small particle sizes, more flexible in their application and do not adversely affect the electrical resistivity of the resultant polymer. Also disclosed are the use of these peroxide dispersions, a polymerizable composition containing these peroxide dispersions and polymeric products produced by the use of these peroxide dispersions.
