PURPOSE:To simplify the registration of an unregistered word by detecting the unregistered Word out of an input character string after analysis of an input example sentence, detecting the attribute information on the similar words to the detected unregistered word out of a dictionary, and registering the unregistered word into the dictionary. CONSTITUTION:An analyzing part 103 analyzes an input example sentence and detects the attribute of en unregistered word. A dictionary retrieving part 108 retrieves a word or a word string that has the attribute of the unregistered word out of an analysis dictionary 110. The similar words retrieved out of the dictionary 110 by the part 108 and the attribute information on the similar words are outputted to a similar word attribute output part 107. An operator designates a similar word corresponding to the unregistered word out of those similar words outputted to the part 107 through a similar word designating part 111. A dictionary register part 112 registers the attribute information on the designated similar word in the dictionary 110 in response to the unregistered word. |
