PURPOSE:To improve the bead part durability by determining the outer surface shape of a side wall part so as to satisfy a specific equation and positioning a part of a recessed part within a range, in a tire having a recessed part between the outer edge in the radial direction of the outside ply of a carcass ply and the tire max. width position. CONSTITUTION:The curved line B-B which is parallel to the center line A-A in the thickness direction of a carcass ply body part 25 and is directed to the tire max. width position 11, passing through the outer edge 16 in the radial direction of an outside ply 15 is set as an obtained axis, and the distance between the outer edge 16 and the line A-A of the axis (d) which is drawn perpendicularly to the (h) axis from the outer edge 16 is set (s). The curved line D-D is drawn close to the curved line B-B by 1/3s for the line A-A, in parallel to the line A-A. When each distance on the axes (h) and (d) from the original point is set (h) and (d), if the curved line C-C which satisfies the equation I is drawn, a part of a recessed part 21 is positioned in a range surrounded by the curved lines D-D, C-C, and the axis (d). |
