PURPOSE:To prevent color mismatching from being generated between images by a method wherein either the first recording means for recording an image while controlling a recording position of an image of each of colors or the second recording means for recording an image while controlling a recording position of an image subsequent to the second color is selected. CONSTITUTION:Image data for every color is sent to a control means 2 together with various parameters supplied from an image data supplying means 1. After a predetermined processing is performed, every color is recorded in a recording sheet 5 through a recording operation of the first or second recording means 3, 4. In the event that the first and second recording means 3 and 4 record multi-color image, control marks are set along a side edge of the recording sheet, thereafter a multi-color recording for repeating an image recording for every one color and overlapping some colors in reference to the control marks and a multi-color recording for concurrently recording the control marks when the first color data is recorded in a recording sheet are carried out. Selective changing-over of the first and second recording means 3 and 4 is selected by a selection executing means 6, the control means selects the first and second recording means 3 and 4 through this selection and any of the image recording is carried out. With such an arrangement, a color mis-matching between the images can be prevented. |
