<p>PURPOSE:To apply a coating material of a pure color on a work by providing a piston which is disposed freely slidably back and forth, a fluid flow regulating member projected and formed in a part of a cylinder chamber, an injection hole part and a discharge hole part in a cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The coating material of the prescribed color is press fed from a coating material valve 36a of a color change valve mechanism 36 and is packed via a supply path 54 into the 1st cylinder chamber 34 of an intermediate storage tank 10. Further, this coating material is packed through a delivery path 58 up to a coating material gun 38. A block valve mechanism 40 is, thereupon, washed when selector valves 40a, 40b of the block valve mechanism 40 makes selector operation of the valves. The washing liquid is discharged through a discharge path 64 to a waste liquid tank 66. The block valve mechanism 40 is dried and the color change valve mechanism 36 and the intermediate storage tank 10 are electrically insulated. Air for driving is then supplied to the 2nd cylinder chamber 35 from an air supply source 44 and a piston 14 is displaced to a 1st cylinder chamber 34 side. The coating material is applied on the work under the opening action of a trigger valve 62 while a high voltage is held impressed. The application of the coating material of the pure color after the color change is rapidly executed in this way.</p> |
