ACTIVE LOCK DEVICE FOR VEHICLE TRUNK DOOR

PURPOSE:To open the door of a vehicle trunk via a manual action when a power opening system fails by holding a latch in the closed state with the power system, and providing a manual opening system by a key action on a ratchet. CONSTITUTION:An active lock device is constituted of a latch 6 rotatively coupled with a striker 5 and a ratchet 8 coupled with a closed position coupling step section 11 provided on the latch 6 to hold the door closed position state. A power system constituted of an output shaft 43, an output lever 40 and a lock lever 52 is formed as a means to release the ratchet 8 from the coupling step section 11. An open lever 54 is provided as a manual action system such as the key action to manually open the door. Even when the power action system fails, the door of a trunk can be opened by the manual action such as the key action.
