PURPOSE:To quickly perform the sanding of a plate member having a complicated end face shape, or a different end face shape, by intermittently rotating a pat holder so that the specified pat is faced to the internal face of a sander belt between front face rolls. CONSTITUTION:The front face side of a sander belt 30 conforms to the upper part of the end face of a plate member, when the end face of the plate member is pressed to the front face side of the sawnder belt 30 from the outside part, while rotating the sander belt 30 via each rolls 27, 28, 29 with a sander motor being actuated, and the upper part becomes subjected to sanding. Then the other part of pat 51b is faced in the front face direction with a pat turning- device 52 being actuated, after completion of the sanding of the upper part of the end face. Then, the lower part of the end face becomes subjected to sanding, when the end face of the plate member is pressed to the front face side of the sanding belt 30, while rotating it by the sander motor. |
