PURPOSE:To alleviate a processing load on a camera body side by providing a lens side microcomputer with a judgement data setting means for setting AF acceptance and nonacceptance judgement data related to the execution of automatic focusing control. CONSTITUTION:A body side microcomputer 10 has an AF control means 60 for executing automatic focusing control, and an F-number transmission means 50 for feeding a lens side microcomputer 61 with a possible F-number set in a body side for allowing automatic focusing control on the basis of the AF control means 60. On the other hand, the lens side microcomputer 61 has a computing means 56 for computing an open F-number at a given focal distance, a comparison means 57 for making a comparison between the possible F-number sent from the F-number transmission means 50 and the open F-number computed with the computing means 56, and a judgement data setting means 58 for setting judgement data related to the acceptance and nonacceptance of the automatic focusing control on the basis of a comparison result available from the aforesaid comparison means 57. According to the aforesaid construction, a processing load on the body side microcomputer 10 can be alleviated. |
