<p>A numerically controlled grinding machine (60) for a glass plate provided with: a table (3) for supporting the glass plate (5); a motor (35) connected to a grooved grinding wheel (38) for driving said wheel which rotates to grind the peripheral edge of the glass plate (5) held by the table (3); motors (11 and 53) for displacing the grinding wheel (38) relatively to the glass plate (5) in the direction X along the surface of the glass plate (5) and in the direction Y along the surface of the glass plate and perpendicular to the direction X along the surface of the glass plate (5); a motor (40) for displacing the grooved grinding wheel (38) relatively to the glass plate (5) in the direction Z perpendicular to the surface of the glass plate (5); and a numerically controlled device connected to the motors (11, 53 and 40). <IMAGE></p> |
