PURPOSE:To save the labor required for the document processing operation by acquiring the information on a logic structure which satisfies the limitation of an input common logical structure from the logical structure of an input document and generating a part or the whole of a logic structure which satisfies an output common logical structure based on the information on the former logical structure. CONSTITUTION:An automatic logical structure generation processing part 107 generates a new logical structure which satisfies a common logical structure stored in a common logical structure storage part 105 and the document parts and also generates the connection between the logical structure and the document parts based on a program of a logical structure generation program storage part 106. In other words, a generation rule is prescribed between a logical structure which satisfies the limitation of the common logical. structure that limits the logical structure of the input document and a logical structure which satisfies an limitation of the common logical. structure that limits the logical structure of an output document. Based on this generation rule, the logical structure of the output document is obtained. |
