PURPOSE:To automatically decide the 2nd tab right margin by adding the relative position of the tab right margin of a 1st column to the left margin of a 2nd column when the left margin of the 2nd column is designated. CONSTITUTION:The left margin L of 8 1st column is first set together with tabs T1, T2 and T3, and the right margin R. A command is inputted through a keyboard 1 and a control means 5 decides whether a format has been set or not. If not and the left margin is designated at the right of the right margin of the precedent column, the tab of the present column is calculated together with the absolute position distant from the left end of a print line of the right margin. Therefore the tab of a 2nd column and the absolute position distant from the left end of the print line of the right margin are calculated by a margin setting means 5 and stored in a storage means 2. Then the setting processing is finished when the format setting end is designated. |
