PURPOSE:To improve the extent of scatterability in a developing area as well as to secure such an electrostatic latent image developing toner that brings sufficient transferability and image quality into full play, by setting up a magnetic fine grain locally on a toner surface. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic fine grain is locally set up on a toner surface, and these parts naturally have a higher magnetic characteristic than other parts, namely, a part being low or zero in sticking density of the magnetic fine grain. Toner's scattering out of a development counter occurs at a time when toner separates from a carrier grain and is discharged in the air in a developing area. Accordingly, if there is an area strong in a magnetic characteristic even in a part of a toner surface, the toner is hard to separate from the carrier grain as this part is held on a carrier surface in direction of contacting with a carrier, thus it can sufficiently correspond to a high-speed development. With this constitution, scattering resistance, good transferability and image quality are securable, through which it can sufficiently correspond to the promotion of high speed in an electrophotographic process and a requirement for high reliability. |
