<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the reactivity between an absorbent and the sulfur compds. in the waste gas and to obtain high desulfurization efficiency with a simple system by returing the whole or a part of the solid recovered from a desulfurization reactor to the reactor through a solid circulating passage. CONSTITUTION:An absorbent 5 is supplied to the sulfur compd.-contg. waste gas 2 discharged from a combustor 1, and a desulfurization reactor 4 is provided. The whole or a part of the solid recovered from the reactor 4 is returned to the reactor 4 through solid circulating passages 25 and 26. Consequently, the reactivity between the absorbent and the sulfur compd. in the gas is enhanced, the desulfurizer is made compact, the unreacted absorbent collected by a dust collector is reduced, and high desulfurization efficiency is obtained with a simple system.</p> |
