PURPOSE:To mount a circular resilient body to a work automatically by inserting a mandrel having blades to be engaged with slits in a sleeve through the sleeve, and forming axial grooves opening in the outer circumferential surface in the blades at rotation symmetric positions to each other among the blades of the mandrel. CONSTITUTION:A sleeve 2 has slits 2b deeply cut from its lower end toward a flange part 2a, each of blades 1b protruded at a forward end part of a mandrel 1 is engaged with each slit 2b to slide freely, the mandrel 1 is formed having the forward end part shaped in a tapered conical trapezoid, and the blades 1b are protruded in the outer circumferential surface of the forward end part. Grooves 1d into which receiving members of a supplying device get in respectively corresponding to axial motion of the mandrel 1 are formed at an upper end part of the two blades 1b at rotation symmetric positions of the mandrel 1 to each other. These are composed in such a way that the receiving members for a circular resilient body get into the grooves in the blades of the mandrel without interference, thereby the circular resilient body can be held securely by a holding device. |
