A method for welding an insert (6), in particular a connecting tube, into a plastic container to be produced from films (3, 3') is described, in which the insert (6) is inserted between the films (3, 3') and the said films are welded to each other between two shaped pieces (1, 1'), the shape of which is adapted to the outside contour of the insert (6) to be welded in and to the adjoining seam regions of the weld seam, the said films being welded together by bringing the shaped pieces (1,1') into contact by means of respectively assigned welding jaws (5, 5') and heating them under pressure, and by the welded parts remaining between the shaped pieces (1, 1') being removed together with the latter from the welding jaws (5, 5') and transferred into a cooling device, where they are cooled until the weld seam sets. <IMAGE> |
