PURPOSE:To support a work positioned at a desired position securely by prohibiting flow of non-compression actuating fluid from a work pressurizing side cylinder chamber of a piston cylinder unit to a work depressurizing side cylinder chamber so as to holding an actuating rod at the desired position. CONSTITUTION:An actuating rod 24 of a piston cylinder unit 21 is moved up by up motion of a drive rod 37 at a drive cylinder actuator 22 by smooth mutual communication of oil filled in cylinder chambers 25a, 25b. When the forward end of the actuating rod 24 is applied to the back surface of an applied part 31a of an applied rod 31, a timer is set time up, and a solenoid section valve 27 provided in a communication passage 28 of the piston cylinder unit 21 is deenergized immediately. As flow of oil from the lower cylinder chamber 25b of the piston cylinder unit 21 to the upper cylinder chamber 25a is prohibited, motion of the actuating rod 24 is prohibited, thereby the actuating rod 24 is held applied to the bottom surface of a work through the applied part 31a of the applied rod 31. |
